| Shanella Ashley is currently working towards her Associates in Dance at Nassau Community College, studying with Stanley Berke and Lenore Gorham-Wall. She has trained at The University of the Arts "Summer World of Dance" program. | Space (Roosevelt, NY).
Shanella performed for the National Council of Negro Women, the African
American Museum (Hempstead, NY) and Delta Sigma Theta Suffolk County
Graduate Chapter’s Black History program, Harlem’s First Annual Storytellers
Fair. Shanella has been a featured dancer at Clark Atlanta University
in various campus pageants and the Miss Fulton County Pageant (Atlanta,
GA). She has also danced with the Clark Atlanta University Basketball
Dance Team, Onyx. Shanella choreographed for the Uniondale High
School Cheerleading Team, Dance Space (Roosevelt, NY) and solo pieces
for pageant competitors. Shanella currently teaches Tap, Ballet, Modern,
and Hip-Hop at Perfection Dance Center in Baldwin and Elmont, NY. Camara
Dance Unlimited is Shanella’s professional debut.
