Muriel
Lynette Peterson began
performing at age 4 with Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company of Syracuse
where she was exposed to the art of singing dancing and acting. Muriel toured
internationally to Trinidad with company in production of "What's Going
On" a tribute to the life an music of Marvin Gaye.
At age 15 she began studying tap dance and has had the honor & privalegde to perform along side and attend classes with Marshall Davis Jr. And Ted Louis Levy. Recently a graduate of Queens College in 2008, she was able to expand her knowledge of dance history under the tutalidge of Jacqui Malone. Muriel received a bachelor's degree in dance & urban studies while minoring in Spanish language. Muriel has been a member of CDU since its inception and is excited to be able to expand her role in the creative process. |
