| Traci Hinton Peterson is the Founder/Artistic Director of Camara Dance Unlimited and a Dance Instructional Specialist for the New York City Board of Education. As a Dance Educator she has worked with numerous organizations, notably City Center, the Joyce Theatre, United Federation of Teachers, and New Victory Theatre. Ms. Peterson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York | ||||||

University and a Masters
of Arts degree from Columbia University.
Along with her formal education, Ms. Peterson has studied at the Alvin
Ailey American Dance Center, Martha Graham School of Dance, Canadian
National Ballet, and with the Urban Bush Women at Florida State University.
In addition, she has attended several Katherine Dunham Technique Seminars
in East St. Louis where she studied with master Dunham teachers. She
has performed with many dance and theatre groups including the Rod Rodgers
Dance Company. Her work in Central New York includes Artistic Consultant/
Choreographer for the Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company, Syracuse,
NY, Syracuse Opera Company, adjunct professor at State University of
New York at Oswego, and dance instructor at West Genesee High School.
